Kolbe Academy is getting excited to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. Catholic Schools Week is a time to appreciate and celebrate all the incredible things that Catholic schools do for and offer to their students and their families. During this week, we recognize the uniqueness of our Catholic schools. We are proud that Kolbe Academy is a faith-filled community that educates and assists our students to recover, succeed and transform.
On Sunday, January 30, we will begin our annual celebration, joining with over 7,000 Catholic Schools across the country and our 34 “sister” diocesan schools. This year’s theme is “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.” As the theme reminds us, Catholic schools prepare students for the future by instilling in them a faith that helps to mold them into good people. They teach students to strive for excellence in every area of their lives. They help students understand the need for service to make the world a better place for everyone. The faith they live, the excellence they seek and the service they share will change their lives forever!
Kolbe Academy exemplifies a marvelous reality of Catholic education every day. Our students support one another every day. Our staff love, mentor and challenge students daily. Our generous benefactors share their talent and treasure enabling us to provide a distinctive Catholic education all the while supporting recover for our students.
Below you will find a link to our calendar of events. The activities and outline of each day are provided. You are welcome to join us for our prayer service on Monday, our Mass on Thursday and/or our Adoration on Friday. I ask that you continue to share the good news about Catholic education and, especially, Kolbe Academy with your family, neighbors, friends and co-workers.
