A youth retreat is a time when young people withdraw from their normal activities. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, this time away provides students with an opportunity to encounter Jesus in new and impactful ways, reflect upon the movement of God in their lives and formulate their personal response to the call of our Lord. It is a sacred time and a time for students to be renewed and rejuvenated.
It is the policy of the Diocese of Allentown that all students enrolled in a Catholic high school, no matter what their religious affiliation may be, must participate in a retreat once each academic year. All-school, as well as, smaller scale retreats will be offered each year. Overnight retreats will also be offered to students to enhance their personal relationship with God. Dates of retreats will be announced at the beginning of each school year.
