Anne Baum is the Lehigh Valley executive and vice president, distribution channels & labor relations for Capital BlueCross. In this capacity, she is the senior leader in the Capital BlueCross Lehigh Valley office. She leads the network of over 5500 producers and is responsible for the plan’s organized labor customers. Since joining the company in January 2010, Ms. Baum has been involved with strategic planning, operations, partnership development, community relations, corporate giving, sales, and account management throughout Capital BlueCross’ eastern service area.

Anthony (Tony) DaRe serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at BSI Corporate Benefits. Tony serves as the chief negotiator and is tasked with leading the BSI team through current client renewals as well as new client implementation. Tony has redefined the industry by positioning BSI as a consultant rather than a broker or agent. Jennifer (Jen) Smith, the Secretary of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP), has led the department’s focus on strengthening Pennsylvania’s drug and alcohol treatment landscape by increasing drug take-back opportunities, launching Pennsylvania’s Get Help Now Hotline, and expanding access to naloxone in communities around Pennsylvania. Secretary Smith has led collaborations with the Pennsylvania Department of Health to release guidelines and protocols for “warm handoffs” that help overdose survivors transition into substance use disorder treatment.
